Darren is the visionary entrepreneur who had a dream as an 11 yr old child, some 28 years later this dream is now a reality with the launch of MOE Foundation.

He is a co-leader of 3 organisations, a speaker, writer and positive shark in the global fish tank.

He is passionate about game changing the lives of young people the world over…..he has 2 children and lots of people who make sure that his feet are firmly planted in the ground.

Sue BrattonSue Bratton - Co pilot

Community and Operations Director

Sue is the lady who makes it all happen.

She manages Darren and tells him off regularly to ensure he delivers his promises.

Her role involves telling the story, co-ordinate the teams, making the events happen, ensuring quality and excellence in all that we do, looking after the fellow leadership team members and generally ensuring all our MOE plates keep on spinning.

She is a super Mum-preneur of 4 of beautiful little MOEs, that will one day be game changers in their own rights.

Jake ShepherdJake Shepherd

Owner, MSDC


Jake Shepherd is a creative designer and owner of MSDC, creating brand identities, websites, advertising and graphics.

MSDC prides themselves in their original thinking and creative ideas, and ability to communicate them effectively across all aspects of graphic media.  

They  help their clients build successful brands, implement creative strategies that promote their products or services with a clear and distinctive voice.

Carol Wilson


Carol Wilson, founder and Managing Director of Performance Coach Training and Culture at Work, a member of the Global Advisory Panel to the Association for Coaching, where she is an Honorary Fellow, and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Professional Speaking Association.

She experienced the value of a coaching culture at first hand while working at board level with Richard Branson at Virgin, and went on to hold board level positions in other corporations including Polygram.

Carol now focuses on transformational leadership, consulting with organisations and designing programmes to create a coaching culture, and is a keynote speaker, broadcaster and writer. Carol was nominated for the AC Awards for Influence and Impact in Coaching, and received a ‘Change Leader of Tomorrow’ Award from Thought Leaders in Mumbai. She has published over fifty articles including a monthly column in Training Journal and was chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012 for her article “Developing a Coaching Culture”.

She is the author of ‘Best Practice in Performance Coaching; a Handbook for Leaders, HR Professionals, Coaches and Organizations’, featuring Forewords by Sir John Whitmore and Sir Richard Branson (Kogan Page 2007). She is the course designer and lead trainer for the MOE Executive Coach Training course.

James WrightJames Wright


James is a speaker, author and executive training facilitator specialising in delivering coaching and leadership programs to multi-cultural organizations worldwide.

He is particularly passionate about embedding coaching, (aka ‘respectful communication’) with parents, teachers and schoolchildren, for whom he has so far written  two books, Kid Pro Quo and Seven for a Secret.

In an earlier life he worked as an England National Team Volleyball Coach for twelve years, building a priceless understanding of the mechanics of winning and losing, team-dynamics, motivation, team cohesion and performance. 

He is committed to the work of Amnesty International and speaks regularly in schools and colleges around the UK on its behalf and hugely enjoys the rewards of driving the Coach Training with the MOE community. 

Carlo MalkaCarlo Malka


Carlo is a freelance management consultant specialising in all aspects of customer management in the Business to Consumer space. His background is predominantly in IT, retail banking and the management consulting industry.

He has lived and worked in many different countries and is fluent in 5 languages.

Lately he has started to focus on philanthropic pursuits and is a founding member of the MOE board.

Andy GriffithsAndy Griffiths


Andy Griffiths has 19 years of experience primarily focused on the European banking industry.

He has consistently been ranked among the most influential investors in Europe by Finance Directors in Extel, Reuters and Brendon Wood International surveys.

Andy has been with Capital Group for the last 12 years. Prior to joining Capital, Andy was the deputy head of research with Prudential M&G Investment Management..

He holds a bachelor’s degree in management economics and accounting from the University of Liverpool. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant. Andy is based in London.

Simon HampelSimon Hampel


Simon believes passionately in conscious leadership. In 1993, aged 24 he started his first business, Mercator International, a brokerage company.

This proved so successful that Simon raised substantial venture capital and developed a further 3 companies covering commercial consultancy, sports management and IT systems with offices around the globe.

Simon has developed 25 projects in 8 African countries and India, resulting in partner clinics achieving 500,000 patients per annum within 4 years.

Simon has been mentoring people of varying ages and experiences for the past 15 years. Having taken time out in a Zen monastery to learn about silence and meditation, he now focuses his energies on fellow CEO’s, working with them to define purpose, empower teams and achieve personal and professional success whilst enjoying the journey.

Simon has been an active player in the transformation of the HR services market in Recruitment, HR Consulting and Executive Coaching. He was a founder of Talisman a major Search and Selection company, which was acquired by Penna in 1998 where he worked until 2007.

In his 30 years in HR Services Simon has consistently introduced new ways of addressing markets and mobilising resources around the needs of Corporate clients, including managed services and outsourcing.

Simon is passionate about transforming the Executive Coaching market and giving organisations access to best practice across the coaching life cycle.

Acuity Coaching provides a managed service that sources and manages Executive Coaches globally for organisations like RBS, Linklaters, Oracle, TUI, Standard Chartered etc.
